**Chef Responsibilities**:
- Have experience of Malay or Western cuisine.
- Capable to prepare foods for breakfast.
- Capable to serve both buffet and à la carte dishes.
- Responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking high-quality food for a hotel's restaurant.
- Overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Monitor food stock and place orders.
- Determines how food should be presented, and creates decorative food displays.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.
- Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
**Requirement and Skills**:
- Proven work experience as a Chef.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
- Culinary school degree/diploma preferred.
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.
- Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
Schedule:
- Fixed shift
- Weekend jobs
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
