The Utilities Manager is responsible to ensure all utilities, Boiler, Air Compressor, Sewage Treatment Plant,Waste Water Treatment Plant, Lift and Air Handling Unit System are stable, in normal running condition, across all the building and premise. Through a Safe, Healthy and sustainable Environment.

Engages with the shift teams to identify, analyze, understand and eliminate daily losses including quality and safety losses. Uses the Manufacturing Operating System - MOS tools to create and implement standards for sustainability which drives continuous improvement. Owns the Global Efficiency continuous improvement plan for the respective area.

**RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACTIVITIES**:

- To ensure compliance with Local Authorities specifications and requirements at all time.
- Working hand-in-hand with Production & Maintenance departments for related installation & commissioning project, repair, service and upgrade of machinery & equipment within the plant to achieve optimum operation.
- To report any deviations to Head of Department.
- To ensure all documentations / plan, checklist, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and calibrations are well updated & recorded within utilities.
- Carry out process control, field testing, routine and special maintenance, general cleaning and ground duties in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
- Assist and monitoring all work being performed by third-party contractors.
- To execute responsibilities / duties assigned by the Manager.
- Adhere / Comply with company policies, rules and regulations.
- To oversee and manage Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTTP), Compressed Air System and Process Water.
- Implement and ensure department Standard Operating System (SOP) and policy compliance with ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 requirement.
- Responsible to provide input in Annual Operating Budget (AOP).
- Responsible to observe and assess department training needs.
- To ensure department activities compliance with Local Authorities requirements i.e. DOE,DOSH and MPPG.
- To assist as Food Safety Team member.
- Perform any other job/function that assigned by Management.

Here's what we're looking for:

- ** Academic Program**: Degree / Master in Engineering or equivalent.
- ** Experienced**: At least 8 years working experience in industrial with Wastewater/Ammonia/Boiler/Compressed Air System/Maintenance is required for this role.
- ** Skillset**: Strong engineering (multi skilled or mechanical bias) background ideally within a process manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience of delivering significant capex investment projects.
- Strong project and stakeholder managements skills with experience of navigating complex projects.
- Experience of hands-on commissioning.
- ** Personal traits**: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
