ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1) Operate the boiler, air compressor and water softener plants to the standard operating procedures and ensure they are running in good conditions and operate in the most effective and efficient manner.

2) Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance schedule and to troubleshoot when necessary.

3) Carry out routine inspections and upkeep of the Boiler, air compressor and water softener.

4) Comprehensive records keeping of all maintenance activities and important data in the Boiler Log Book.

5) To make necessary preparations and follow-up with contractors for annual boiler overhaul/inspections and Air Compressor by DOSH.

6) Carry out daily routine work schedule for boiler and Air Compressor to run without interruption.

7) Attend to boiler and Air Compressor breakdown and repair.

8) Maintain records for all boiler breakdowns and any abnormal situation.

9) Ensure safety, good manufacturing practices within ISO guidelines and standards are maintained during the course of work.

10) Assist Production personnel in meeting production demand.

11) Work closely with all other Maintenance sections, Production and related departments on machine conditions and efficiencies.

12) Conduct daily sampling test of boiler and softener water (TDS and Hardness test).

13) Escort and supervise other third-party vendor for routine maintenance servicing as required.

14) Perform necessary housekeeping on boiler house, air compressor room and their surrounding areas to ensure neat work areas.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
