There are few position available under Purchasing Department:
**Buyer Team**
- Purchase materials for inventory and non-stock items for department and customer orders.
- Get latest quote from supplier to avoid pricing dispute and problem invoice.
- Able negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Ensure supplier correspondence I.E PO, EDCN, Quotation, Memo, & MSDS are kept for future reference.
- Convert PR to PO send to supplier for promised date acknowledgment and then update into system.
- Follow up, expedite and close open PO.
- Monitor and follow up on supplier delivery to ensure is on time to avoid line stoppage.
- Issue blanket PO for consignment part, partial delivery, and long term order.
- Execute MRB parts, follow up, and close with supplier for replacement or credit note.
- Execute RTV, follow up, and close with supplier for problematic delivery either for replacement or credit note.
- Provide or purpose new supplier to Sourcing Team for including matrix.
- Resolve problem invoice with suppliers.

**Sourcing Team**
- Prepare and solicit RFQ to suppliers, with clear specifications, term, compile and analyze the quotes.
- Utilize procurement tools such as catalogs and e-sourcing (Online metal, Octoparts).
- Negotiate MOQ, lead-time, pricing and terms and conditions with new suppliers and existing suppliers.
- Drive localization and sourcing in local market, drive to lower total cost of manufacturing for products.
- Work with inter-department on supplier audit and qualification of supplier(s).
- Drive supplier qualification process, ensure compliance to SOP for all suppliers.
- Interface with cross functional group on the qualification of supplier(s) and driving continuously cost improvement program.
- Utilize spent report to identify cost saving opportunity.
- Maintain and track each part and suppliers list.
- Responsible for new item sourcing for NPI project.
- Propose alternate source for single source purchase.
- Survey marketplace/ benchmark market information commodity or service area of responsibility.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of working experience in sheet metal fabrication industry or related field will be an added advantage.
- Required skills: Negotiation skills, good team player and commodity sourcing in purchasing.
