Security Monitoring Agent will primarily be involved in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and assets via security systems within a control center. Primary responsibility will be to monitor & respond to exception alerts from security systems that are transmitted to the monitoring centre through CCTV cameras, alarm systems and access control systems.

**Monitoring Duties**:

- Monitor and operate security systems and equipment within a centralised monitoring centre.
- Monitor, Respond, Facilitate & Close out alarm signals transmitted from all security devices throughout all remote locations
- Recognise trends in incoming alerts and filter false alarms.
- Maintain detailed records of all incidents, actions taken, and communications facilitated.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams and network services to ensure prompt and effective response to incidents.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment functionality and report any malfunctions or technical issues for immediate resolution.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection guidelines to maintain the integrity of sensitive information.
- Work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 monitoring coverage.

**Requirements**:

- Effective & excellent Communication Skills required to communicate with end users, Response Units & Network Services.
- Communication skill is crucial to ensure accurate information transfer.
- Basic understanding of various monitoring systems & use of Computer is required.
- Ability to interpret details is essential for identifying and analyzing potential threats or incidents.
- Ability to quickly spot patterns within data and exceptions.
- Possess strong critical thinking skills to assess situations, make decisions, and take appropriate actions.
- This includes the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, prioritize tasks, and handle emergencies efficiently.
- Analytical mindset helps in evaluating information effectively and making informed decisions.
- Strong multitasking skills are essential to manage these responsibilities efficiently.
- Open to learning and adapting to new technologies is crucial for longterm success in the role.
- Disciplined & Consistent in handling Alerts

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
