**Position Overview**: The QA/QC Inspector ensures all fabricated sheet metal components and assemblies comply with customer specifications, engineering drawings and industry standards.The role involves conducting inspections at various stages of the production process, maintaining quality documentation and supporting continuous improvement in quality control systems.

**Key Responsibility (Experiences in either one of the following field will be an added advantage)**

**1. Incoming Material Inspection**
- Verify raw materials (sheets,plates,profiles,fasteners,hardware) against purchase orders, certificates and specifications.
- Record and report any non-conforming materials.
- Inspection includes checking and verification whenever parts are back from finishing or surface treatment.

**2. In-Process Inspection**
- Inspect fabricated parts during laser cutting, punching, bending, welding and finishing processes.
- Check dimensions, tolerances and surface quality using appropriate measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc).
- Verify welding quality, surface treatment preparation and cosmetic requirements.

**3. Final Inspection**
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of completed assemblies prior to delivery.
- Ensure compliances with drawings, technical standards and customer requirements.
- Review coating (powder coat, plating, anodizing) quality and finishing consistency.

**4. Documentation & Reporting**
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR) and corrective/preventive action records (CAPA).
- Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of measuring instruments.
- Maintain traceability of inspection records for audits and customer reference.

**5. Communication & Coordination**
- Liaise with production, engineering and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ability to communicate and meet up with suppliers for discussion during audits or whenever needed to align our requirements to vendors.
- Support customers and auditors during quality audits or inspections.
- Provide feedback to improve fabrication processes and minimize or eliminate rework and reject.

**6. Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+years of experience in **sheet metal fabrication quality inspection**(laser cutting, punching, bending, welding and finishing).
- Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, tolerances and GD & T.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Skilled in the use of measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Attention to detail, good documentation practices and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production staff, engineers and customers.
- Capability and know-how in utilising Microsoft Office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
