**Responsibilities: -**
- To be responsible for carrying out inspection according to the drawing, customer specification, condition of supply and customer requirements by using appropriate inspection Test Equipment.
- Review/qualify the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
- Prepare NDT Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for project execution.
- Inspect the incoming materials to verify the material identification, material quality and material test documentation.
- Conduct /Witness Welder Qualification test (WQT) and review the NDT reports to qualify welder.
- Ensure all codes and specification requirements are met and followed.
- Supervise the compliance during welding process towards the welding procedures and quality welding practices.
- Perform inspections and test activities in accordance with the ITP and procedures.
- Carry visual inspections on welding seams, dimensional check and supervise repair on visual defects and verify the test report.
- Check the NDT requirements and coordinate with NDT inspectors to perform inspection work at field.
- Review test package to confirm joints were completed and ready for hydrostatic test.
- Prepare and compile all inspection mill certificates together with manufacture data report (MDR) according to client requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation, effectiveness and continual improvement of quality control and quality assurance of the company, Quality Management System ISO 9001 and ASME Section VIII.
- To assist QC Engineer by preparing inspection data and report.
- To perform all other work as and when assigned.

**Requirement**:

- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably specialized in Welding Technology or equivalent.
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and project management skills.
- Preferred Language (s): English & Bahasa Malaysia.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
