We are expanding our family and are looking for a **passionate Secondary Music Teacher (Strings, Guitar & Vocal)** to join us in guiding our students on their musical journey.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging **music lessons** focusing on **strings, guitar, and vocal performance** for secondary students.
- Teach students instrumental techniques, music theory, ensemble playing, and performance confidence.
- Organize and lead **school bands, choirs, and music performances** throughout the academic year.
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom displays that inspire creativity and appreciation for music.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Support students in preparation for **IGCSE Music** and other performance-based assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into cross-curricular and school-wide events.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, parent-teacher discussions, and school programs.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- **Teaching qualification** (Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma in Education) is required.
- At least **3 years of teaching experience**, preferably in a **secondary or international school** setting.
- Strong proficiency in **strings and guitar**, with experience in **vocal coaching or choir direction**.
- Familiarity with the **Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum** will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about inspiring students through music.
- A supportive team player who enjoys mentoring young musicians.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
