About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Company Secretary (Malaysian citizen)** to oversee corporate secretarial functions across our group of companies with regional and cross-border operations. This role is responsible for end-to-end statutory compliance, governance support, and maintenance of corporate integrity in alignment with regulatory frameworks.

You will work closely with the Board of Directors, senior management, regulators, and external advisors to ensure timely filings, accurate documentation, and adherence to corporate governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties across multiple group entities.
- Draft and circulate board and shareholder resolutions, meeting notices, and minutes.
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory filings with SSM and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and a centralized corporate database.
- Organize and support board and shareholder meetings, including documentation and follow-up actions.
- Monitor compliance with the **Companies Act 2016** and relevant regulatory updates.
- Support corporate exercises including incorporation, share transfers, capital changes, and restructuring.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and service providers to ensure governance compliance.
- Coordinate notarization, legalization, and apostille processes when required.
- Assist in due diligence reviews and support audit processes related to secretarial matters.
- Provide guidance to directors and business teams on statutory obligations and governance best practices.

**Requirements**:

- **Malaysian citizen.**:

- **Graduate of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) or equivalent Chartered Secretary qualification** - mandatory.
- 5-6 years of experience in corporate secretarial work, preferably within multi-entity or regional structures.
- Strong knowledge of **SSM requirements**; exposure to Singapore regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Meticulous, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
