Job Summary
Provide unique, memorable and professional service to Guests reflecting our image.
1. Communicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with Guest, suppliers and fellow Band Members.
2. Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation.
3. Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.
1. Be flexible and open to change in your job responsibilities, and/or roster to meet business needs.
1. Always extend friendly and caring service to every Guest that walks through our door.
2. Be a team player and maintain good relationships with fellow Band Members.
3. Care about your work environment and make sure it is tidy and well maintained.
4. Your work is important. Pay attention to detail and do every task to the best of your ability.
1. Seek responsibility and take responsibility for your actions.
2. Understand the Band Handbook and comply with the standards it outlines.
3. Be reliable and ensure you are at work on time.

5. Carry out all professionally reasonable instructions given by your supervisor and use your initiative in the absence of instructions (your supervisor may not always be around to you
Technical Competency
1. Report all incidents, accidents and complaints in briefings.
2. Handle cashiering duties in accordance with policies & procedures.
3. Provide service to Guests in accordance with service standards.
4. Prepare the outlet/function room for service.
5. Know the menu/special promotions and assist Guests with recommendations.
6. Know your role in case of a hotel emergency such as fire, bomb threat etc.
7. Ensure all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
