**Job Summary**
- The role of Planner for Cameron (M) Sdn Bhd is to support the Mgr Material on the production and material planning. The Planner is responsible to co-ordinates the schedule for purchased, manufactured and assembled equipments. He/She is also responsible in ensuring that schedules are co-ordinated to meet the required delivery date and optimize the use of inventory and manufacturing resources.**Responsibilities**:

- The Planner will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve the production scheduling as well as plant improvement. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the Planner are:

- Responsible for daily production plan.
- Plan, lead, organize and manage loading for machine shop and assembly.
- Ensure the material release to production according to daily line schedule.
- Review and manage work centre capacity with objective to meet the goals and provide improved capacity to Management.
- Liaise with related department to ensure smooth flow of production orders.
- Coordinate and expedite with Buyers for materials overdue vs. production start date.
- Coordinate and follow up with Production on any production shortfall and prepare recovery plan if necessary.
- Monitor and tracking Aging Work In Progress for each work centre.
- Monitor and tracking On Time Delivery for each work centre.
- Coordinate with shipping department for shipment customer orders.
- Responsible to fulfil customer's orders and on-time delivery with the objectives of invoicing by Current Acknowledgement Dates.
- Communicate inter-department to utilize global and in-house excess inventory.

**Minimum Job Qualifications**
- Educational: The Planner should be in possession a Degree in related discipline from a recognized university. Experience:A minimum of 3 years experience in a Production Control, Purchasing or project management environment desirable.Strong interpersonal skills. Good communication skills.Computer Skills: The Planner should be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Knowledge in SAP would be an advantage. Language: Fluency, both written and verbal, in English and Malay. Communication Skills: The Planner should be able to express ideas effectively in both individual and group situations. In addition, he/she should be able to organize and express ideas clearly in written documents and be the leader in driving the production for specific project.
