**OVERVIEW**
- Maintaining the punctuality of compounding and with the highest accuracy during compounding preparation; for all types of compounds; example: latex, chemicals, polymer, coagulant, powder & etc. Responsibilities also included monitoring and controlling subordinates discipline, productivity, and efficiency, accuracy, operating conditions, compound quality and quantities. Reporting to superiors on all matters related to compounding activities.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Check and ensure workers wear proper attire and take care of personal hygiene before and during work.
- Wear company uniform, long pants and covered shoes.
- Wear protective hair net while working in production area.
- No make-up, jewellery, scarf pins and brooch allowed.
- No short skirts or pants and no slippers allowed.
- No long, dirty, varnished and false nails
- Plan and organize groups of workers, which are assigned by the Supervisor / Executive, to carry out daily tasks.
- Ensure daily stocktake are carry out properly by workers.
- Bulk tanks - raw latex & soft water inventory
- Mixing & Standby tanks - compounded latex inventory
- Coagulant tanks - coagulant inventory
- Assist Supervisor in monitoring daily inventory of raw latex, compounded latex, coagulant, soft water, direct chemicals and indirect chemicals used in compounding process, ensure that the supplies are sufficient.
- Check and ensure soft water system is always in good condition.
- Perform daily checking (3 times per shift) on the hardness of treated raw water using hardness tablets.
- Initiate soft water regeneration process when the treated raw water does not meet requirement.
- Check and ensure all latex and coagulant supply to production lines must be properly sieved and correctly channelled.
- Monitor all daily tasks assigned to each worker and ensure the workers perform their tasks in accordance to written work instruction.
- Coordinate and monitor all daily compounds, while make sure that all the compounds can be completed and ready to supply to production on-time.
- Closely monitor latex preparation and tank cleaning activities perform by workers to ensure latex wastages are minimized.
- Enforce the compliance of HSE regulation and requirement among workers, as well as making sure workers wear proper
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance to their working environment.
- Record all chemicals added into preparation tank during any compounding preparation into relevant checklists.
- Monitor all potential effects after such adjustments and report observations to superiors.
- Assist Supervisor to record details / information required in most compounding processes into registered forms. Process involved:

- Latex preparation
- Coagulant preparation
- Soft water regeneration
- SDBS 10% preparation
- Alkaline preparation (pH adjuster)

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:

- Minimum SPM, Cert & Diploma

**Work Experience**:

- At least 1 years of working experience in manufacturing

**Technical and Professional Knowledge**:

- Ability to analyse and solve problem
- Ability to organize, supervise and provide guidance
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
- Able to do basic planning
- Able to work on shift rotation
- Discipline
- Good in Time Management
