**Job Summary**:
a) GA Staff Nurse to performs Peri-Operative patient care and patient related activities within Operation Theatre in safe, efficient and effective manner.

Department: OPERATING THEATRE

1. Assist anaesthetist to render Perioperative Care e.g., preparation of intubation, assist in intubation, positioning, assist in invasive line insertion, assist in extubation, circulating role.

2. Receive and check all patients for procedure in OT and ensure all document available e.g Consent for procedure and Anaesthesia consent. Refer to OT list.

3. Investigate and find out the root cause for all incidents happened in the unit. Rectify and plan for better solution/processes in order same incident do not reoccur.

4. Ensure all clinical documentation clearly and completed before discharged patient to PACU/ICU.

5. Ensure all anaesthesia consumables available at all times.

6. Ensure sharp bins are not full and discarded at ¾ full.

7. Ensure no pilferage of medication and consumables usage. Diligently use and record all DDA follow the SOP guidelines.

8. Review Par level on medication and consumables in GA trolley at least 3 monthlies if needed to ensure enough supply at all times.

9. Work closely with all PACU Nurse and OT Technician to ensure all medication charged correctly before bill close.

10. Involved in stock checking according to finance schedule.

11. Work closely with Manager to ensure enough equipment for anaesthesia.

12. Ensure all anaesthesia equipment service according to PPM schedule.

13. Assist immediate superior on expansion project including budget requirements, space, equipment, supplies, staffing and projected volume.

14. Assist Manager in new staff orientation and assist in guidance of new staff when assign.

15. Will be assigned as Circulating Nurse when in the Operating Theatre when needed.

**Requirement**
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- Valid LJM Certificate
- Valid APC / RON
- **Experience SRN** encourage to apply

**Working Days**
- Monday - Friday (Day shift)*

*( 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM / 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM /9:30 AM - 7:00 PM) - Rotation
- Saturday & Sunday (oncall - allowance provided) - if work saturday&sunday - get replacement off day on weekdays. - *Rotation

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
