- AMD is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced platform Hardware Engineer to work closely with internal development teams for AMD’s cutting-edge Enterprise products. This individual will interface with the AMD internal hardware development and customer support team to assist and address Server platform design challenges. This includes enabling partners with critical knowledge of AMD technologies and platforms, and review customer platform design to drive the best practices to reduce time-to-revenue, and successfully scale AMD business.**THE PERSON**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Enhance platform design documents and customer training material to improve overall customer design
- Electrical enabling to customer on SI, PI, System PD, EMC.
- SI to improve collateral coverage, UPM analysis and PCIe Gen6 Solutions per unique customer design
- Establish structural feedback to CRB/Validation build
- Analytic ability to address technical issues and generate creative solutions

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Strong technical skills with extensive hands-on experiences in performing schematics and PCB design, EMI and Signal Integrity analysis, system design optimization.
- Strong knowledge in the following fields: PC/Server/DCGPU architecture, x86 processors, DDR, PCIE, SATA, USB, multiprocessor systems, and power management
- Experience in working with global customers and enabling them to production
- Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to influence horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations.
- Team player with passion and will to do whatever it takes for business success with a keen sense of urgency and strong drive
- Excellent communication and evangelizing skills with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive team results
- Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- BS or MS in Electronic Engineering(or relative engineering fields) with 10+ years of electrical validation, signal integrity, hardware development experience in the computing industry, at the OEM, ODM, or technology provider level
