English Lecturer

**Responsibilities**:
- Cover the syllabus outlined for the assigned course(s) in a logical and readily understandable sequence and in accordance with students' assignment requirements.
- To prepare lesson content and its documentation, as well as to prepare teaching materials for lesson.
- Assist students in understanding the topics covered and, generally, prepare them for their final examinations.
- Assist students in understanding assignment requirements.
- Answer student queries on academic matters relating to the unit promptly.
- Set and mark assignments for students.
- Set and mark examination scripts.
- Prepare students term reports.
- To discuss, to communicate with students regarding work and performance, and to mark and assess students’ work for all the classes assigned.
- Attend staff meetings as deemed necessary by the Head of the Department.
- Participate in various committees and support student clubs.
- Responsible in giving support for documentation for ISO and MQA.
- Participate in Mentor-Mentee Program
- Participate in Promotion and Marketing activities to promote programs.
- Any other duties related to academic as directed by the Management.
**Core Competency Requirement**:
- Preferred 2-3 years teaching experience or equivalent industry related experience.
- Good organizational skills
- Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Preferably someone with a valid teaching permit.
**Job Type**: Part-time
