As our maintenance technician, you will assist the property manager to manage the upkeep of the building. You should have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. You will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. Occasionally you may require to patrol the premises to determine if any hazards are present, and any issues that are discovered should be resolved immediately. It is also important to keep complete and accurate records of the work that is done and the expenses that are carried out.

**Responsibilities (Not limited to the duties below)**:

- Performs general preventive maintenance, corrective repairs of the building and equipment including day-to-day repairs and emergency maintenance.
- Ensuring proper functioning of electrical equipment.
- Carry out general repairs work such as electrical, painting, replace tiles, cementing & plastering, toiletry fitting and plumbing.
- Carry out daily check and maintenance of the building and amenities for issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Check electrical systems of building for optimal functioning.
- Plan and report all repair and installation activities in weekly meeting with the Yap Ah Shak Manager.
- Monitor equipment inventory (Fire extinguishers) and place orders when necessary.
- Keep updated maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied.
- Additional ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities equipment.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Applicants with Electrical work Certification will be an added advantage.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
