**Quality Technician - Your future position?**
- As the Quality Technician, you will conduct periodic inspections and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with safety regulations, specifications, and standards. You will report to the Quality Manager and will be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

**Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in**:

- Log and manage samples and sample flow within Quality Control (QC).
- Conduct chemical, physical, and sensory evaluations of products and incoming ingredients according to current Givaudan specifications.
- Enter test results into SAP promptly, leading to acceptance or rejection of samples.
- Perform basic equipment calibrations according to established calibration procedures.
- Troubleshoot instruments, equipment, and quality deviations in the laboratory.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within QC processes.
- Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
- Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.
- Perform administrative tasks within QC.

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of QA/QC work experience in food-related industries is good-to-have. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Proficient in computer literacy skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Practical skills in laboratory and/or Quality Control (QC) techniques, including weighing balances, densitometers, refractometers, moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrators, sieve testing equipment, and gas chromatography (GC).
- Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and relevant local regulations.
- Team-player and strong communication/negotiation skills.
- Capability to conduct sensory evaluations.
- Able to work in shifts.
