**Job Summary**
- Oversee and supervise M&E equipment (installation and repairs that are safe and adequate) in the hospital by the in house technician and extra control
- Perform routine maintenance and specialized operations related task in order to provide optimum supporting role to other departments so that there is mínimal disruption to other departments’ operation.

**Key Task**

1) By ensuring that all essential equipment under the daily checklist are checked daily and repaired immediately when necessary
2) By checking all M & E equipment to ensure that they are operating within the design specifications
3) By observing the physical and working conditions of all equipment/building premises/furniture and fittings during the course of the daily work and report on any findings that require attention
4) By checking all plumbing and sanitary system to ensure no blockage and leaks
5) By monitoring all works done by outsourced contractors to ensure the highest quality and speed
6) By performing monthly service on all ACMV equipment
7) By performing daily checklist on ELV and electrical board.
8) Be a role model to the other on the area needed to be check.
9) Perform corrective maintenance schedule to reduce breakdown and increase efficiency of equipment.
10) review the checklist of mechanical and electrical to enhance building system efficiency.
11) To perform physical rounds to improve on building management and upkeep.
12) By ensuring that all job request received are attended to immediately
13) By recording down in the log book and to follow up on uncompleted work
14) By keeping the requesters informed of the status of the job request and acknowledge them if completed
15) By follow-uping with vendor and technician on work progress.
16) by assigning to technician on project work and keep help desk and facilities manager inform on the progress of work.
17) By responsive to breakdown call and be on call as and when needed.
18) Be on standby on major event such as on load testing,etc
19) By strictly following departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards
20) By adhering to safety precautions whilst carrying out daily tasks to avoid any accidents/injury
21) By attending safety and health talk through briefings and trainings
22) By checking on contractors work to ensure compliance to hospital policy.
23) By checking the equipments and machineries and supplies to ensure proper handling and storing to avoid damage
24) By ensuring proper care in the use of the equipment and supplies
25) By ensuring on hospital utilities are at it’s most sustainable and efficient.
26) By performing any other duties as instructed by the management

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of working experience (preferably healthcare industry)
- Have experience in Chiller, HVAC system (MSQH/JCI), general maintenance

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
