Executive Housekeeper

**Job Summary**:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping department to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort throughout the property. This role manages a team of supervisors and attendants while ensuring efficient operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations.
- Develop housekeeping schedules and assign duties to staff.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold cleanliness and service standards.
- Manage inventory and control usage of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
- Handle budget planning and cost control for the department.
- Liaise with other departments (e.g. Front Office, Maintenance) for coordination and service delivery.
- Manage guest complaints related to housekeeping and resolve them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and linen stock with accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee procurement of housekeeping items, ensuring timely replenishment while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for price comparison, stock orders, and delivery coordination.
- Track stock movement and usage through proper record-keeping and stock cards/warehouse logs.
- Conduct monthly and ad hoc stocktake exercises and investigate variances.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation to reduce wastage and spoilage
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
