**Job Title**:Operations Supervisor (Events & Warehouse Management)**
**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive **Operations Supervisor** to oversee **event operations** and **warehouse/product management**. This role ensures seamless execution of events while maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, and logistics coordination.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Event Operations Management**
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the operational team for event setups.
- Study event orders and montage plans, ensuring adherence to client requirements.
- Develop and maintain event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Manage outsourced workers, including meal arrangements and equipment allocation.
- Conduct pre-event site visits, coordination meetings, and post-event evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and organizational standards.
- Oversee event flow: pre-setup → setup → quality check → handover → event → dismantling → post-mortem.
- Handle petty cash management to minimize wastage.
**2. Warehouse & Product Management**
- Supervise inventory control (in/out), labelling, and rack system organization.
- Conduct quality checks on products and ensure proper packing for shipments.
- Manage stock lists, update reports, and coordinate with sales for special client requests.
- Optimize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness and security.
- Oversee the repair, packaging, and handling of rental equipment.
- Schedule and confirm courier dispatches (Mon/Wed/Fri).
**3. Team Leadership & Compliance**
- Train and support operational staff to improve productivity and morale.
- Monitor crew performance during events and warehouse operations.
- Develop contingency plans for disruptions and ensure worker safety.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Sales, Logistics, Client Services) for smooth operations.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- 2-5 years of experience in **event setup and dismantling, warehouse and logistics management**.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required, with the endurance to work outside normal working hours for event props preparation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership traits to lead teams, manage vendors, and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Knowledge of inventory systems, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Skill in mediating disputes and fostering a positive team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
- Understanding of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and transportation processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication to liaise with team members, transport companies, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges, such as inventory discrepancies and logístical issues.
- Skills to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Crucial for ensuring accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Basic financial acumen (petty cash management, cost-effective logistics).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid **GDL license** and ability to drive a **3-tonne lorry** (not mandatory but advantageous).
- **Computer literate** with proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with inventory control software to track stock accurately.
- Tech savvy and familiar with basic digital communication tools
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
