**The role**

**Role responsibilities**:

- Playing a key role in transforming the current AP function, embedding new processes and controls.
- Ensuring all AP related finance deliverables are completed as part of the month-end process.
- Ensuring invoices are collected, archived and loaded in the payment system and approvals are tracked.
- Ensuring PO are raised, billed and paid for all invoices collected.
- Liaising with vendors, bankers, internal stakeholders and resolving payment-related queries.
- Assisting with the month end closing.
- Assisting with the administration of Concur Expenses and NetSuite financial systems.
- Processing payments via online banking system.
- Ensuring all payments are generated accurately via NetSuite - for approval and processing.
- Preparing routine and ad hoc reports and analysis for financial reporting or business review purposes.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PDF Tools.
- Concur and NetSuite experience desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business at all levels of seniority.
- Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports.
- A meticulous approach to work minimizes errors and maintains data integrity.
- The ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and payment-related issues efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and understanding the importance of confidentiality.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage a high volume of invoices and payments.
- Effective time management skills to meet payment deadlines and ensure smooth cash flow management.
- Openness to work flexibly and change focus as work priorities change.
