Job Description

  • Handle the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and provide solutions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit purposes.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations.
  • Adhere to all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Account Payable Specialist Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations in the life science industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
