**The Position**:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is to support the strategic scientific direction of Boehringer Ingelheim with the provision of clinical and scientific information/data to health professionals via scientific exchanges/presentations, primarily with defined External Experts (EEs). These exchanges will provide the necessary background for health professionals to make good sound clinical decisions in the treatment of their patients and allow the MSL to gain understanding of current treatment and management of patients locally.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain medical/scientific expertise for the respective product and therapeutic area;
- Provide strategic medical input for local plan preparation;
- Plan, execute and monitor the effectiveness of local medical activities;
- Act as primary medical contact with external expert;
- Identifies, interacts and engage with EEs, clinicians, scientific societies and other data-driven stakeholders to understand and satisfy BI and customer needs and drives awareness for BI products in the academic and clinical community;
- Contribute with medical expertise to cross-functional activities;
- Provide medical training to ensure sufficient product knowledge of field force and other departments;
- Coordinate, execute and monitor the effectiveness of local medical activities and programs such as non-interventional studies, non-trial activities, IIS or compassionate use programs.
- Perform all company business in accordance with all regulations and company policies and procedure

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor in Science or PhD in Science or Doctor of Medicine or pharmacist.
- Preferably experienced Medical Science Liaison or experienced in pharmaceutical industry.
- Also open to those who are highly interested in Medical Science Liaison role.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, synthesize and clearly communicate medical data
- Ability to do public speaking and presentations, both for large audience and 1-1 setting
- Good English communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and interest in digital environment
- People person and good networking skill
- Proactive attitude and team player
