Safety & Health Officer/ Supervisor (Project Director’s Site Representative)

**Responsibilities**:

- To monitor the performance of control measures and safety management system, site safety and housekeeping on site and preventive/ corrective actions from D&B contractor;
- To monitor all site safety and health matters and to ensure all works executed are in full compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and requirements from the Employer’s QASHE team;
- To report on non-compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements and actively participate in incident and accident investigations;
- To report immediately to the Employer, Project Director, and the Employer’s QASHE team for any violation of safety procedure and measure at the site and to monitor the necessary preventive/corrective actions implemented at the site;
- To report and make recommendations to the Project Director on conflict or dispute concerning instruction, problems arising at the site, and discrepancies in drawings or specifications;
- To monitor all site works including architectural and engineering works, façade works, ID works, landscape works, signage works, lighting works, and other ancillary works as required to achieve satisfactory completion of the project to the design intent and the Employer’s needs statement;
- To monitor the project is constructed in accordance with D&B construction drawings, specifications and with excellent quality in line with the Employer’s expectations and needs statement;
- To ensure timely resolution of all technical and site safety issues by D&B consultants and site personnel;
- To witness the acceptance and commissioning test/ inspections on the completed works;
- To assist in periodic preparation of progress claims with proper records and filing system;
- To attend and report at all Site Meetings, Site technical meetings, and others as required and directed by the Project Director;
- To submit weekly written report outlining site safety issues and measures implemented, the progress of works, and issues of concern at the site;
**Requirements**:

- Required language(s) : English and Malay;
- Minimum 6 year(s) of relevant experience with exposure to high-rise residential and similar projects;
- Sound knowledge of contractual procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements;
- Shall be able to carry out site inspection on the workmanship;
- Self-discipline, responsible, self-motivated, and dynamic personality;
- Good interpersonal skills with leadership qualities and communication skills to effectively interact with the Employer, D&B contractor and consultants, and authorities;

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
