Kuala Lumpur is the host to KPMG Delivery Network’s ASPAC Compliance Delivery Centre (‘’KDN MY’’), which offers tax compliance services in ASPAC. The team is culturally diverse, comprising of many different nationalities, backgrounds, and skills. KDN MY works closely with KPMG’s Global Tax leaders to translate business requirements into a clear global delivery strategy for delivery centers that supports the needs of global KPMG solutions, including but not limited to, Tax Reimagined. It also creates and operates an interoperable, seamlessly integrated network of Global Delivery Centers to enable globally consistent delivery. The world of global tax compliance for large multi-nationals is rapidly changing, and KPMG is changing its delivery model to seize the opportunity. Large MNCs have consolidated their compliance operations into a handful of in-house global/regional locations supporting their hundreds of specialty services units worldwide to drive efficiencies. However, tax compliance has become heavily dependent on technology, and MNCs will need to significantly invest in technology to optimize their costs of compliance. Alternatively, they can outsource their compliance to a provider that has the global expertise and can scale its technology investment costs, while offering an efficient delivery model that optimizes integrated centralization the way MNCs have already demonstrated, while integrating it with local SMEs where appropriate. **Responsibilities**:
Overall responsibilities include working with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions in performing the below listed data focused compliance enablement activities. These responsibilities will include: - Application of Transfer Pricing business requirements/ regulations to the business requirements to technology solutions - To work with the assigned team on Client solutions through technology as they are required in respect of operational transfer pricing, TP Documentation, and the related statutory reporting and tax reporting disclosures - Be part of a team that solve complex business issues from strategy to execution using data enablement related to transfer pricing - Supporting New Client Implementations - including data extraction, configuration, testing and production rollout - Validating the data requirements and standard outputs for completeness and accuracy - Generating data extracts for consumption by downstream Tax systems - Support configuration of applicable downstream Tax systems - Providing effort estimates during the initial phases of scoping on a new Client engagement - Coordination with Local Member Firms & Lead Central Teams for updates & status follow-ups, regular Status meetings & Reporting - Updating Client/Engagement specific dashboards - Coordination with Member Firms to capture locally applicable requirements for preparation of Tax Returns or Statutory Financial Statements, Collation of inputs and Reconciliation against the existing set of requirements - Designing data integrations and data quality framework utilizing cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure to enable client reporting solutions - Leveraging big data machine learning toolkits - Optimizing data from structured and unstructured sources - Implementing processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it - Managing large scale structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party sources - Documenting systems, refining requirements, self-identifying solutions and communicating to the team.

**Requirements**:

- A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Data Sciences, or relevant field - Demonstratable knowledge with SQL, MS Azure Data Factory, MS ADLS, Automation, Power BI, and Alteryx - Knowledge/ exposure with SAP - Exposure in Extract, Transform, & Load project - Exposure to RPA (Python / UiPath) would be preferred - Possess analytical and problem-solving skills - Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills - Must be able to work independently as well as in a team to manage in a fast-paced environment - Proactive, responsible, and inquisitive are key to being successful in this role - Willingness to learn and leverage the KPMG technical development opportunities
