Store Manager, Sales

**General responsibilities:

- Responsible for day-to-day operation on the Philips Lighting Store, including serve customers, documenting sales, managing financial transactions, processing payments, managing inventory, etc.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales to contractors, installers, builders, and interior designers.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, installers, builders, and interior designers to ensure their ongoing business.
- To attend to project customer enquiries i.e. Contractors and follow up with relevant dept for sales quotation and fulfilment.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Manage inventory and ensure that the store is stocked with the right products at the right time.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales.
- Ensure all store activities and operations carried out with integrity and is compliant with the organization’s SOPs and standards.
- Require recording all documents and reports are in place, up-to-date and filed in an orderly manner.
- Able to provide excellent customer service and build good relations with our customers including attending to customer inquiries and providing good recommendations/ solutions that meet customers’ needs.
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Willing to drive sales through engagement of customers (including cold-calling prospective businesses), suggestive selling and sharing of product knowledge.
- Handling online/ offline customers’ warranty claims. This includes arranging delivery for replacement (if necessary) and ensure all warranty transactions are documented.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the lighting industry or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in store management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multi-tasking.
- Knowledge of lighting products and the construction industry is a plus.
- Min. education qualification is high school diploma and degree in any field.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
