Job Responsibilities
**Project Planning and Scheduling**:
- Work with the project manager and designers to develop timelines.
- Coordinate milestones and ensure vendors and contractors are aligned.
**Site Coordination**:
- Be the main point of contact on-site
- Supervise day-to-day operations, deliveries, and contractor activities.
- Ensure safety standards and site protocols are followed.
**Vendor and Subcontractor Management**:
- Liaise with contractors (e.g., MEP, carpenters, ceiling, partition, flooring teams).
**Procurement and Logistics**:
- Track materials, furniture, and fixtures deliveries.
- Ensure timely procurement based on the project timeline.
- Ensure safety standards and site protocols are followed.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain project files, progress reports, and minute of meetings.
- Prepare status updates for stakeholders
**Quality Control**:
- Ensure that finishes and installations meet design intent and specs.
- Handle snagging and defect resolution.
**Budget Tracking**:
- Assist in tracking costs and ensuring the project stays within budget.
- Support Project Sales in all quantity surveying-related tasks and project costing (ex. Wall panel, ceiling fixture etc)
**Client Coordination**:
- Attend meetings and update clients on progress.
- Coordination approvals and change requests.
**BOQ Generation and Management**:
- Prepare and generate detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on customer requirements, project specifications and product details.
- Preparation of tender documents while evaluating subcontractor quotation and negotiation prices.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects and project managers to align the scope of work with the design vision while maintaining commercial viability.
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management, Quantity Survey is common.
- PMP or similar certifications are a plus (but not always required)
- Experience in interior fit-out or construction project coordination.
- Understanding of technical drawings, BOQs and materials.
- Familiar with health and safety regulations.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, and/or other PM tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate in mandarin is an added advantage.
Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
