A **part-time retail sales associate** has the following job responsibilities:

- **Customer Service**: Assisting customers by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and providing help with purchases. Ensuring a positive shopping experience is a key responsibility.
- **Sales**: Actively promoting and selling products, upselling, and cross-selling where appropriate. Meeting sales goals and maintaining high conversion rates are common expectations.
- **Cash Register Operations**: Handling transactions, including operating cash registers, processing payments, and managing returns or exchanges.
- **Product Knowledge**: Maintaining a strong understanding of the store's products and services to assist customers effectively.
- **Inventory Management**: Restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring that the store is neat and fully stocked. Some roles may include checking stock levels and helping with stock replenishment.
- **Store Cleanliness**: Ensuring that the store is tidy and organized, including cleaning workspaces, aisles, and display areas.
- **Promotions and Discounts**: Communicating current promotions or discounts to customers and assisting with special offers.
- **Handling Complaints and Issues**: Addressing customer complaints or issues in a professional and calm manner, escalating when necessary.
- **Team Collaboration**: Working as part of a team to meet store goals, assist colleagues, and ensure efficient store operations.
- **Other Duties**: Depending on the store, this could include opening or closing the store, performing stock checks, or helping with visual merchandising.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM13.00 - RM700.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 6 per week
