Scrum Master

Requirements
- Has 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Scrum Master role in the context of

software development. Scrum Master / Agile certifications or similar is a plus
- Has 5+ years of experience in IT-driven business transformation programs, ideally with

deployment experience in an international setting
- Has 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or related industry experience. Business

**domain knowledge for the following area(s) would be a plus**: medical, commercial, content,
data and analytics
- Experience with large scale, complex technology deployments
- Excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques
- Strong understanding of technology-driven transformation projects and commercial ecosystems
- Knowledge of CRM and cloud-based solutions such as Salesforce, IQVIA or Veeva and a good

understanding of data and analytics technology
- Project and resource management skills
- Risk management and identification
- Lives the spirits of an agile innovative culture with a mindset of servant leadership
- Passionate about learning, sharing and further developing best practices to achieve greater

- Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the R&D Squad leads and with every R&D squad member to ‘connect the

dots’ and facilitate the flow of information within the squad.
- Support the R&D Squad leads by engaging and coaching the R&D squad members and

increasing their scrum maturity.
- Facilitate scrum events and ceremonies while at the same time coach the team to understand

the value and purpose of these events, optimize them for the project and team needs and value creation
- Facilitate sprint reviews/deployment retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and turn those areas into action items for future deployments.
- Guide the squad towards self-organization to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a

pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
- Coach the team to live the core values of successful Scrum teams: Courage, Focus,

Commitment, Respect, Openness
- Empower the Squad Leads and the Squad members to take ownership and focus on value

creation
- Facilitate the engagement with affiliates, track the progress of engagement and support the

preparation of material for each engagement.
- Exhibit the servant leadership behavior towards the R&D squad teams and the wider

organization.
