QA Specialist

Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist - CB3 - NM Job Description - The role is critical to Quality Assurance Management, Responsible Care & Environmental Management System as well as quality improvement activities onsite, - He or she is the QMR and RCC for the site QMS and RC14001 management Systems, owner of controlled documents and the window persons for certification bodies and customers’ audits. - ‘-He/She is the lead auditor for both management systems for the site. - The QA function oversees day-to-day Quality Control activities at the QC inspection gates and is a focal person to liaise with Technical Service CSR and Production Teams in the handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and alignment runs. - The QA is also in charge of monitoring and reporting RFT, and quality incidents and facilitating RCFA and quality improvement activities through the cross-functional teams. - QA is also to be trained as the site CepSWAM (Certified Personnel Handling Scheduled Waste Management) to handle regulated wastes as per required by the local authorities, together with the site EHSS Leader where at least 2 certified personnel is required for each site. - Qualifications: - (Education, Training & Work Experience) - Diploma/Degree in manufacturing engineering/applied chemistry/chemical engineering/other related disciplines - Preferably >2 years of working experience in handling customer complaints and daily QC inspection gates. - Well-versed in general Quality tools, Problem-solving techniques, Microsoft spreadsheets and data analysis. - Preferably with working knowledge in QMS ISO 9001 and EMS ISO 14001 and trained in internal audit.
