Lecturer (Marketing)

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Teaching & Learning**
- Develop teaching materials, lesson plans, assessments, and rubrics aligned with learning outcomes.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students' projects, assignments, and dissertations.

**2. Curriculum Development**
- Assist in the design, review, and improvement of academic programmes to ensure alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and academic quality assurance frameworks (e.g., MQA).

**3. Research & Publication**
- Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable journals, conferences, or industry platforms.
- Pursue research grants, collaborative projects, or consultancy opportunities aligned with marketing and business disciplines.

**4. Academic Administration & Student Support**
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, exam boards, and other academic committees.
- Assist in events, open days, marketing activities, and student recruitment initiatives.

**5. Industry Engagement**
- Foster connections with industry partners to support internship opportunities, guest lectures, and curriculum relevance.

**Requirements**:
**Qualification**:

- MBA in Marketing or Master’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- A PhD (completed or in progress) is an added advantage.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at tertiary level OR relevant industry experience in marketing.
- Familiarity with higher education teaching practices, curriculum development, and assessment.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools and e-learning platforms.
- Research competency and a record of publications (preferred).

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
