**Purchasing Executive**

Location: Johor Bahru

Industry: Food Manufacturing

**Salary Range: RM4,000 - RM4,500**

**About the Role**

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Purchasing Executive** to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials from both local and overseas vendors. If you have strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

**Key Responsibilities**
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up with suppliers and shipping agents on documentation and delivery.
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from local and overseas vendors.
- Ensure procured items meet quality standards and specifications.
- Manage and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with ISO 22000 and Halal standards.
- Analyze demand and forecasts to optimize purchasing plans.
- Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
- Coordinate with Planning, Sales, and Inventory teams to manage stock needs.
- Maintain ISO documentation and participate in regular stock takes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement (manufacturing industry preferred).
- Strong IT proficiency with good communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Knowledge of Mandarin (spoken & written) is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Responsible, positive attitude, and ability to work independently.

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday

8:00 AM - 5:45 PM
