**Job Title: Mobile Mapping System Data Collector**

**SITE LOCATION: Kluang, Johor**

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mobile Mapping System Data Collection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and managing mobile mapping systems to collect accurate and high-quality geospatial data. You will play a crucial role in supporting our mapping and surveying projects, contributing to the development of digital maps and 3D models.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Mobile Mapping System Operation**:

- Operate and calibrate mobile mapping systems mounted on vehicles or other platforms.
- Ensure the proper functioning of sensors, cameras, LiDAR, and GPS equipment.

**2. Data Collection**:

- Execute planned routes to collect geospatial data efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data collection issues in real-time to maintain data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

**3. Data Processing**:

- Transfer collected data to processing software and assist in data post-processing.
- Collaborate with the data processing team to validate and refine collected information.

**4. Equipment Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of mobile mapping systems.
- Troubleshoot and address technical issues with hardware and software components.

**5. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of data collection activities, equipment performance, and any incidents.
- Generate reports summarizing project progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth coordination during data collection projects.

**Qualifications**:

- SPM, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operating mobile mapping systems and collecting geospatial data.
- Familiarity with GIS software and data processing tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions and travel as required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with LiDAR, photogrammetry, and other remote sensing technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in geospatial data collection.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
