A- Summary A quantity surveyor manages all costs relating to Interior Design projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Surveyors seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. A quantity surveyor may working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work. When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs." B- Job Description Responsible for price quotation and roll out of tenders, Interior Design construction firm. Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off for tenders. To prepare for the submission of interim progress claim. Attending Site Meetings/Tender Briefing (if required). To assist in any matters pertaining to pre and post contracts. Any other tasks to be assigned by the Immediate Superiors from time to time. To assist in coordinating with the Project and Site Teams pertaining to the project, contract and site management. C- Qualifications Diploma/Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized Institution/ University. Minimum 2-3 years working experience in building construction/Fresh graduate also welcoming to apply. Knowledge of condition of contract in Interior Design are advantages. Have driving license D. Advanced computer literacy with Intermediate Excel and Word. D- Interpersonal & Public Relations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and a passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiencies. Willing to learn and work under pressure. Persistence in every task and job.
