Purpose of Role

The Data Analyst will support the migration of legacy SAP BW reports to the S/4HANA platform. This role ensures a seamless transition, enhances user experience, improves data accessibility, and aligns with Aurora Data & Analytics’ strategic objectives. The analyst will collaborate with the project lead to analyze requirements, optimize data models, and contribute to the design and delivery of modern, user-friendly reporting solutions.

Role Accountabilities

1. Collaborate on the migration of SAP BW reports to S/4HANA Fiori tools

2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for S/4HANA reporting

3. Work with the project lead and developers to design, test, and deploy dashboards

4. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure consistency between legacy BW reports and new output

5. Document technical and functional specifications, including data flow diagrams and user guides

6. Coordinate with end users and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on report design

7. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during go-live and post-deployment phases

8. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, performance, or user access

9. Support training and onboarding of business users on the new reporting tools

10. Contribute to project planning and status reporting, including tracking milestones and deliverables

Qualifications / Competencies

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

2. 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field

3. Familiarity with SAP BW and SAP Analytics tools

4. Understanding of SAP Fiori, Snowflake, Power BI (or strong willingness to learn)

5. Knowledge of SAP HANA and CDS Views

6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills

7. Proven ability to standardize and optimize business processes

8. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing business resources

9. Fluent in English (additional languages desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
