**Position Title**:

- Assistant Manager, Ancillary Revenue

**Reports To**:

- Manager, Ancillary Revenue

**Role Purpose**:

- Drive core ancillary revenue growth by implementing the ancillary revenue strategy across all customer touch-points, champion new market relevant products and improve customer performance experience in existing/new ancillary products.**Key Accountability**:

- Monitor and analyse all available data points to pick up on opportunities, gaps, leakages and other relevant information related to the performance of each core ancillary product by tracking market developments, continuously benchmarking competitors offerings, etc.
- Function as the primary point-of-contact for all ancillary revenue related matters for the core ancillary products namely Seat Selection, Prepaid Baggage, Excess Baggage, Wifi and Packs including matters concerning financial reports, customer satisfaction, technical availability, marketing and commercial/contractual matters. Scope also includes all matters concerning external vendor management.
- Coordinate staff training, especially frontliners, in the rollout of new ancillary products as well as initiatives to improve the delivery and efficiency of the product execution. Scope also includes marketing and sales related to the product
- Monitor and report monthly ancillary revenue stream and expenses against budget.
- Build an optimisation strategy through personalization, testing and targeting approach and execute timely as a project timeline.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Hospitality, Numerical discpline (e.g. Economics), Science & Information Technology and/or business degree and/or diploma with 4 years work experience in Commercial, Sales & Marketing related roles

**Skill & Knowledge**:

- Project Management Experience in the implementation of new products from initial financial projection to engagement with 3rd party vendors and finally execution on the ground.
- Basic Managerial experience leading cross functional internal team and external vendors.
- Utilise existing research, surveys, insights and data to respond as closely as possible to customer demands and market trends.
- Good understanding of mobile and web usability, general Information Architecture principles and how to merchandise airline/travel products online (desktop and mobile)

**Key Challenges**:

- Working in a very lean structure in managing the products.
- Overcoming process and systems limitations in implementation.
- Manage implementation of ancillary revenue initiatives across functional teams
