**Audit and Assurance Internship**

**Job Scope**

You will be involved primarily to assist the audit engagement team, including when performing the fieldwork at our client offices to:
ii. Execute control tests to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in place to identify any areas of risk or concern;
iii. Make and request testing selections following our testing protocols and audit methodology;
iv. Perform substantive testing, by examine and verify the details of account balances and transactions to ensure existence and completeness;
v. Gather and document evidence to support audit conclusions, ensuring that all findings are well-supported and clearly referenced;
vi. Perform administrative tasks such as preparation of audit confirmation letter, signing documents, quotation, billing form, filling, etc; as well as

vii. Have the opportunity to participate in the preparation of Auditor’s Report.

**Expected Learning Outcomes**

By the end of their internship, you would be able to:
i. Gain a better understanding of the audit process, including the preparation of the Auditor's Report and the steps involved in conducting field audits;
iii. Learn to extract and analyze data that are essential in evaluating a Company’s financial information;
iv. Familiarize with Malaysian accounting and auditing standards to ensure compliance during the audit of financial statements;
v. Develop problem-solving skills through professional judgement in audit testing, identifying potential issues, concluding the test work; and

vi. Improve teamwork and communication skills when working closely with engagement team.

**Requirement and Internship Information**

Qualification : Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or any Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ MICPA/...) or equivalent

Internship Duration : 3 - 6 months

Language : Proficient in English communication

Office location : 83B, Jalan SS15/5A, 47500 Subang Jaya

Office hours : Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, closed during public holidays

Attire requirement: Formal wear (Mon-Thu), Smart casual (Fri)

Perks/ benefits : Healthy work-life balance, bi-monthly department's dinner

Allowances : RM1,000 per month

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3 - 6 months

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
