Qualification '¢ Degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering Years of Relevant Experience Required '¢ Minimum 5 years of relevant Process / Technical Safety experience in Oil & Gas Projects / Operations. '¢ Min 2 years Project experience at concept selection, FEED and Detail Design or Operation Support either in a Design or Production role. Additional Experience Related '¢ Proven track record in the preparation of technical documentation to a high standard, especially Safety Cases and Safety Management Systems. 8. Proven track record in facilitation of Safety Review (HAZID, HAZOP, Bow-tie, etc.) '¢ Experienced in using Technical Safety related software (e.g., DNV PHAST, SAFETI, Bow-tie XP or equivalent). '¢ Team worker, self-motivator with good personal, written, and presentational skills. Job Purpose '¢ Provide technical / process safety engineering support and assistance for all Assets and Projects (Identify, Assess, Concept Select, Execution, Decommissioning). '¢ Develop and review respective deliverables and activities; ensure that the deliverables quality are in line with PETRONAS standards and requirements. This includes but is not limited to supporting Hazard and Effects Management Process (HEMP studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, the development of Safety Critical Element Reports, ALARP reports, QRA up-dates, bow-tie analysis, all Consequence and Frequency and Risk Analysis work and Company Risk Acceptance criteria, Cumulative risk Assessments, and Performance Standards. '¢ Lead the respective Process / Technical Safety Engineering deliverables in line with PETRONAS standards and advise PETRONAS Operating Units & Projects on Process / Technical Safety requirements during Design, Construction, Commissioning & Start-up, and Production Operations respectively. '¢ Develop & review Design Safety Engineering Documentation including but not limited to Fire Water Demand, Safety Equipment requirements, Hazardous Area Layouts, Hazardous Area Schedule, Escape Route Layout, Fire Fighting & Life Saving Equipment Layout, Safety Critical Elements and Performance Standard Development, HAZID, HAZOP, FERA, EESA, EERA, QRA, Bow-Tie, Design & Operations HSE Case, Risk Assessment Reviews, etc. '¢ Participate in technical verification exercises of contractor deliverables. '¢ Prepare / Approve Technical Query as part of eMOC/design/engineering documentation. '¢ Perform SCE Hardware Barrier Assessment linked to Process / Technical Safety Discipline. '¢ Facilitate, support, and assure the 5-year review cycle
