Food Technology

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Product Development (R&D)**
- Develop and refine formulations for honey drinks, honey sachets, freeze-dried products, royal jelly, jun tea, honey vinegar, and other new product lines.
- Conduct sensory evaluation, stability studies, and shelf-life assessments.
- Prepare formulation records, technical documentation, and R&D reports.

**2. Food Processing & Manufacturing Support**
- Oversee and optimize production processes, including mixing, pasteurization, filling, freeze drying, and propolis extraction using supercritical CO₂.
- Prepare and update SOPs for processing activities.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

**3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control**
- Perform incoming material checks and routine product quality tests (pH, Brix, viscosity, colour, microbiology coordination).
- Support maintenance of FSMS, HACCP, GMP, ISO22000, and Halal requirements.
- Assist in internal audits and documentation control.

**4. Regulatory & Halal Compliance**
- Assist in preparing documentation for Halal certification, MeSTI, HACCP, NPRA submissions, customs documentation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory and standards.
- Degree or Diploma in **Food Technology**, Food Science, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO22000 is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, good problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced SME environment.
- Advantage: experience with honey, functional foods, or natural health products.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
