**Position: Inspector of Works (IOW)**

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented **Inspector of Works (IOW)** to ensure high-quality execution of construction projects, adherence to specifications, and compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The IOW will act as the key point of inspection on-site, providing technical guidance and ensuring smooth project progress.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure all works are performed according to approved plans, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor construction progress and workmanship to ensure quality control and timely completion of tasks.
- Identify and report non-conformance or defects and recommend corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
- Review materials delivered to the site to ensure compliance with specifications and approval standards.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and test results for reporting purposes.
- Assist in coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve site issues effectively.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are adhered to during construction activities.
- Provide regular progress reports to the project manager or architect and flag any potential delays or risks.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or inspection, preferably in renovation or healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in preparing site reports and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
