**About the role**

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at KHARIZBUILDERS (M) SDN. BHD.' in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will playa crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

**What you'll be doing**
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
- Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Providing expert advice on cost-saving measures and project optimization
- Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project financial objectives are met
- Preparing and analysing progress reports, identifying and mitigating financial risks
- Assisting with the preparation of final accounts and claims

**What we're looking for**
- Diploma or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Fresh graduates are strongly encourage to apply
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contract administration, and cost management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and construction cost estimation tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry standards
