Quality control (QC) in shipbuilding is a system of technical activities that ensure a ship is built to meet customer requirements. QC involves inspecting and testing components of the ship, and ensuring that the work is done according to the project plan.

QC activities
- **Inspection and testing**: Inspecting components of the ship, such as welds, piping, and tanks
- **Reviewing drawings**: Checking engineering drawings for structural and piping modifications
- **Material inspection**: Inspecting materials received and reviewing test reports
- **Training**: Educating workers on project specifications, work procedures, and international standards
- **Coordinating inspections**: Coordinating inspections with clients and classification bodies
- **Maintaining records**: Keeping track of quality observations, material inspections, and punch list items

Pay: RM1,270.24 - RM3,500.00 per month
