'¢ Maintain safety & housekeeping standards. '¢ Complying to maintenance procedures and continuously improve machine and equipment. '¢ Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, '¢ Possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and commitment to efficiently meeting deadlines. '¢ Be familiar with the ISO:9001 2015 Quality Management Standard requirements. '¢ Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. '¢ Confident, self-motivated with initiative, positive working attitude, able to work independently and accurately. '¢ Good communication, good analytical and interpersonal skills. '¢ Self-starter, fast learner with a willingness to learn and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision. JOB DESCRIPTION '¢ Responsible for the efficiency of day-to-day operation of plant and machinery ensuring mínimal downtime. '¢ Planning and undertaking routine scheduled maintenance and responding to equipment faults. '¢ Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults and repairing equipment. '¢ Obtaining correct component parts, fixtures and fittings. '¢ Ensuring compliance with maintenance and health and safety legislation procedures. '¢ Ensuring engineering, technology and equipment standards are maintained. '¢ Maintain and continuously improve manufacturing equipment, machinery and facilities. '¢ Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly. '¢ Controlling maintenance tools stores and equipment. '¢ Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs. '¢ Ensuring there is continuous maintenance cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns. '¢ To work towards the implementation of a preventative maintenance programme to achieve targeted KPI's for machinery efficiencies and utilisation, '¢ To troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and monitor equipment performance. '¢ Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs of the machinery. '¢ To support management with equipment planning modification, upgrade, cost control and parts procurement, '¢ To ensure that repair and maintenance work is carried out in adherence to work instructions ISO:9001 and relevant safety equipment. '¢ To ensure that workshop equipment is kept at optimal working condition and the workshop is kept clean and tidy. '¢ Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as instructed by management from time to time.
