Tool Maker

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool and Die Engineering
- Literate in Microsoft office
- Able to work independently with less supervision
- Willing to work in Melaka
- Permanent employment

**Responsibilities**:

- To assemble, fit and repair tools follow engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for the tool.
- To use hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders to fabricate jigs
- To use machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines and grinders to cut and shape the tools
- To use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges and vernier calipers to check the tool’s dimensions
- To monitor the tools and jigs use in production lines
- To ensure efficient run rates and identify necessary repairs or possible improvements
- To attend machine breakdown and to identify the root cause and solution
- To prepare reports

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
