**Job Scope**

**1. HSE Management System**
- Assist in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management System in compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974, and relevant ISO standards (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
- Support documentation and record-keeping for audits, inspections, and certifications.

**2. Risk Management (HIRARC / JSA)**
- Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Assist in reviewing, updating, and monitoring risk registers.
- Ensure controls are implemented and communicated to workers.

**3. HSE Inspection / Walkabout**
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, walkabouts, and safety observations.
- Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective / preventive actions.

**4. Safety Induction & Training**
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Assist in organizing and delivering HSE trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

**5. Procedures & Documentation**
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating safety procedures, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements, and Work Instructions.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.

**6. Emergency Response**
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Participate in emergency drills and support Emergency Response Team (ERT).

**7. Permit to Work (PTW)**
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and monitoring Permit to Work (PTW) for high-risk activities (e.g. Hot Work, Confined Space, Work at Height, Lifting Operations, Electrical Isolation).
- Ensure PTW requirements are followed, controls are in place, and permits are closed properly.
- Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and PICs to ensure compliance with PTW system.

**8. General HSE Support**
- Support the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in daily operations.
- Assist in incident / accident reporting and investigation.
- Liaise with workers, supervisors, and subcontractors to promote HSE culture.

**Qualification & Requirement**
- Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or related field.
- OR has attended the **22-day Safety & Health Officer (SHO) course** by NIOSH or equivalent.
- OR registered **OSH Coordinator** with DOSH Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in manufacturing / environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of OSHA 1994, EQA 1974 and other relevant HSE legislation.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

**Job Types**: Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kulai
