External Auditor

**Responsibilities**:

- Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
- Identify existing or potential problem areas and non-compliance with established policies, procedures and contracts.
- Accumulate, review and analyze financial and operational data.
- Work with management team to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Keep abreast of current developments in accounting, auditing, and internal control.
- Back up on compliance audit and answering inquiries.
- Provide necessary reports to the Business and Stakeholders.
- To lead the audit team on field assignments and review the work of your subordinates.
- To liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments.
- Drafting and finalising reports and financial statements.
- To handle full statutory audit assignments independently.

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with accreditations: LCCI/CPA/ACCA.
- Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
- Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel.
- Organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Integrity and reliability.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Highly motivated with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
- Computer literate and familiar with Audit Express (AXP) would be good.
- Willing to work overtime during peak periods.
- Able to converse and write well in English and Chinese will be an added advantage.
