Qualifications and Requirements for Plant Manager - Master of Engineering with commercial understanding or adequate education. - Many years of relevant experience (at least 5 years) and good references in project management in equivalent companies - Wide knowledge in technical ultra-pure water and wastewater management - Understand in Malay and English in both communication and writing. - Comprehensive experience in leading own personnel and contracted staff. - Experience in management and leadership skill is preferable. Deviations from this description are to be approved by IFKM Skills, knowledge and abilities - Knowledge in computer for SCADA, system control and interlocking. - Knowledge in computer for standard, presentation and engineering troubleshooting software’s / tools. Skill needed: Power point & reporting, Flow Charts, Auto Cad, 8D troubleshooting tool, FMEA, Analysis skill (DoE). - Knowledge in UPW and WWTP System treatment process, process piping distribution, equipment & instrument maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting. - Organise and use of Quality Management Systems. - Equip with organisation skills and ability to adapt workload by priorities. - Propose solutions and prepare proposals for problems solving and improvements. - Able to identify problems and develop solutions in a timely and effective manner. They should be able to think creatively and approach problems from multiple perspectives. - Skill communicator with the ability to communicate and build relationships with people at all levels and deliver complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. - Knowledge in ISO and TS16949 requirements. - Possess excellent leadership skills to lead a team of employees effectively, set goals, and manage performance. - Able to motivate and inspire their team to achieve high levels of performance. - Have strong financial management skills to manage the plant's budget effectively, develop accurate forecasts, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Job Function and Nature - Order management, quote submissions and financial reporting - Implementation of the task-based concept, ongoing updating, refining and optimizing of plant operation - Organization of operation management, execution and control of operation process. - Planning, procurement, deployment and control of required resources (personnel, machines, material), leadership of team (vendor personnel), personnel development, training and instruction. - Control of vendor personnel deployed to perform services including subcontractor/ cooperating partner personnel and IFKM contract partners relevant to the plant (e.g. maintenance firms that have warranty liability). - Deployment, instruction, monitoring, control and coordination of external firms working at the site for the vendor or IFKM. - Creation and adaptation of site-specific work and operation instructions, process instructions and process descriptions. - Responsibility for compliance with applicable legal and technical regulations, operation regulations, work and operation safety, accident and fire protection, environmental protection. - Planning and initiation of tests - Obligation to report to IFKM in case of unusual, suspicious or dangerous conditions (e.g. using photos) as well as situations which constitute water or energy wastage. - Budget control and adherence to all deadlines required by IFKM. Regular assessments of services, service documentation. - Quality management: quality control, quality assurance and quality inspection. - Preparation and support for audits (internal + external). - Assessment of equipment condition, derivation of a maintenance policy and budget out of the equipment condition assessments. - Creation and editing of an inspection, maintenance, test and repair plan that is customized to the special requirements of each operation or defined unit. - Deployment in case of escalation - Preparation of data needed for IFKM decisions (e.g. investments, improvement, risk mitigation and etc.) - Building up the vendor emergency organization at the site (first aid, work safety, etc.) - Compliance with the traffic safety requirements - Compliance with personnel obligations - Maintenance and revision of the personnel concept (e.g. in case of personnel change) - Identifying and implementing new laws and regulations connected to services contracted by the vendor. - Regular instruction and training of deployed factory personnel in operation processes as well as in regard to work safety, accident prevention and fire protection in working area, creation of training documents. - Briefing the deployed personnel about site-specific IFKM regulations concerning behavior and safety. - Change management: concept creation for necessary changes, implementation of change orders to service performance at the site. - Support IFKM in the assertion of warranty claims, timely defect detection, gathering of evidence and support during commissioning. - Monthly reporting f
