The lead designer (sometimes referred to as the design coordinator), directs and co-ordinates other designers in the consultant team as well as any specialist designers & Draughter that are appointed. This role might include:

- You’re a fantastic communicator. You have the communication skills to help you work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners alike.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the design team, including designer and draughter.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end design/drafting process, from brainstorming and ideation to execution and delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired quality standards.
- Co-ordinating the preparation of drawing, designs, materials and specifications.
- Co-ordinating internal and external consultations and design reviews.
- Reporting to the client on design matters and seeking approvals.
- Co-ordinating the preparation of schedules of mock ups and samples.
- A lead designer meets the company’s and clients’ needs besides collaborating for technical discussion with the project team, quantity surveyor & etc.
- Assist the team with ideas for of drawing/ shop drawing/ technique drawing upon awarded.
- Conduct site measurements.
- Work out technical details including loose furniture & fixed furniture items for tender/ factory production.
- Coordinate with the customers and contractors, suppliers.
- To support & attend site meeting / inspection during project period.
- Opportunity to work with local & oversea customers, & to explore different projects - be it commercial or retail.

**Requirement**
- Minimum 8 years working experience in interior design or fit-out department in retail industry/ shopping mall. Experience in dealing with retail contractors and mall operators will be added advantages
- Able to lead a team of 4-6 drafters
- Detailing, Material Selections, Presentation
- Passion in Interior Design industry
- Language Requirements: preferable English
- Responsibility, Punctuality, Team Work, Self Discipline, Good working attitude, Initiative
- Required skills: AUTOCAD, 3D-Studio Max, Vray and Adobe Photoshop
- Skilled in project planning and feasibility studies.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel across Malaysia. (If required)

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
