**Role Purpose**:

- Lead team of buyers overlooking the procuring of Services and/or equipment/materials in accordance with the technical specification, at the best commercial solution for the business.
- Make sure all purchases are executed in compliance with Company’s policies and Local Content Regulations.
- Prepare and analyze KPIs for the team and help set strategies for the department.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance.
- Act proactively to prevent Procurement delays or backlog creation.
- Provide support on major negotiations and vendor relationship.
- Maintain records as required by the internal and external procedures and regulations.
- Review purchase orders, analyzing the technical requirements and commercial conditions.
- Provide guidance and support on the preparation for Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFP), and contract writing whenever necessary.
- Participate in vendor’s performance meetings and to provide constructive feedback.

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**
- University Degree or equivalent in Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a team leader and 5 years working with Purchasing/Acquisitions. Experience in oil and gas industry is a plus.
- Understanding of import/export procedures and regulations.
- Familiar with purchasing regulations and legislation in country
- Strong leadership skills.
- Very good communicator, fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to travel internationally and offshore if required.
