Metrology Technician

Monitor and maintain a capable test and measurement system. (e.g. policies, procedures, samples, specifications, drawings, reports, MSA, calibration etc.).
- Development of CMM programs and measurement of both mass production and pre-production finished goods and component parts.
- Submit measurement report with accuracy and on schedule to meet customer, process control, and project management requirement.
- Work closely with project teams to facilitate the effective ramp-up of new project platforms on measuring issues.
- Interface with Project Engineers, Tooling Engineers, Quality Engineers and quality assurance personnel to analyze and resolve measuring issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as required to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality and measurement system.
- Provide and maintain measurement report (e.g. ISIR, Cmk, MSA, Calibration schedule and record, etc) based upon company, corporate or project/customer requirements.

**Job Requirement**
- SPM with at least 1 year of working experience related capacity.
- Must be computer literate.
- Good knowledge in CMM.
- Extensive practical and theoretical GD&T knowledge and experience a necessity; Experience with AutoCAD. Ability to read part blueprints. Strong math skills (statistics and trigonometry).
- Computer literate, capable of working with MS Office, Calibration and Gauge R&R and statistical software.
- Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
